Service
Kitchen Services & MEP
The six engineered systems that decide whether a kitchen is workable.
The brief we usually hear
“My exhaust and fresh air are not working as expected.”
How we approach it
Most kitchens fail here rather than at the equipment. Extraction that cannot cope with the hot line, a floor that will not drain, a gas supply sized on optimism, suppression that was added last. We design, supply and install all six systems as one scope, coordinated against the equipment we are putting in - because they only work when they are designed together.
What you receive
- Exhaust, duct and fresh-air system design and installation
- Air balancing and commissioning records
- Floor drains, gratings and grease trap installation
- Gas bank, pipework, regulation and leak testing
- Hood-integrated fire suppression with gas interlock
- Kitchen flooring, cladding, ceiling and lighting
What this service covers
6 areas of scope, delivered by the same team and coordinated as one package.
01
Exhaust hoods, ducting & fresh air
Extraction designed against the real heat and grease load of the hot line, then balanced with make-up air so the kitchen neither smokes nor fights the air-conditioning next door.
02
Drainage & grease traps
Floor drains, channel gratings and grease traps sized for actual wash-down volumes, with falls set so the floor clears and the trap can be serviced.
03
Gas bank & pipeline
Manifolded gas banks, distribution pipework, isolation and pressure regulation sized to the connected load and routed for safe maintenance access.
04
Fire suppression
Suppression over the cooking line, integrated with the hood and interlocked to the gas supply so detection shuts off fuel as well as discharging.
05
Flooring & wall cladding
Food-safe floor and wall finishes detailed for wash-down, hygiene audits and the falls the drainage design requires.
06
Ceiling & lighting
Ceiling systems and task lighting specified for grease-laden, high-humidity spaces rather than borrowed from the front of house.

04
Installation
Installed to the coordinated MEP drawings - equipment, exhaust, drainage, gas and suppression by one accountable team.
